Incoming freshmen of 2014, Welcome!

First of all, an extremely hearty congrats to you for your acceptance into Penn. We are extremely excited to have you become a part of the vibrant Penn community and look forward to having you among us in the fall.

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you. The Upenn MSA was established in 1963, and has ever since been serving the needs of the Muslims at Penn, as well as the Penn and Philadelphia community in general. Our general body has access to the MSA through the host of events and activities that are organized by our various subcommittees and which cater to the different needs of Muslims at Penn. We encourage you to explore our website and learn more about these subcommittees, and the MSA in general.

We understand that you may have some questions in your mind before coming to college - we all did! We encourage you to write to us ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You'll be surprised to learn that almost every other person coming into college has the same questions as you. A variety of halal foods are featured daily during dinner at Kings Court English House dining hall (36th St. & Sansom).

Kabobeesh: Pakistani Cuisine at 42nd and Chestnut St.
Hanan (Food Cart): Arab Cuisine at 38th and Walnut St.
