Alumni Dinner

The MSA held its 2nd annual Alumni Dinner at Shahnawaz Palace, New Jersey on April 21. The event had a strong attendance of 30+ alumni. There were some great ideas brought up for increasing the alumni involvment in the MSA, as well as setting up a platform for the alumni to stay actively in touch with each other. The MSA will be working towards implementing many of these ideas in the near future.

Pictures from the evening coming up soon!

Welcome Alumni
The Muslim Students Association at the University of Pennsylvania was founded in 1963 and today ranks as one of the largest and most dynamic MSAs in the nation. With a long and proud heritage, the MSA at Penn boasts a dynamic and growing alumni network. Penn MSA alums are active in fields ranging from financial services to academia and religious works, resulting in an accessible resource of Muslim professionals and leaders worldwide.

Recently, inroads have been made in establishing the Penn MSA Alumni Association (PMAA), a special committee catering exclusively to the needs of Penn MSA alums. The purpose of this committee is primarily four-fold:

  • Help Penn MSA alumni stay connected
  • Provide financial support for Penn MSA
  • Act as a long-term stabilizing for Penn MSA through strategy support and mentoring
  • Support Penn MSA alumni to stay active in Islamic work after leaving college

The long-term growth and future viability of Penn MSA hinges on the sustained support and commitment from MSA alumni. Please get involved and remain connected by signing up for Alumni list-serve ( This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ).
